New Role, New Universe For Akshaye Khanna

After getting noticed for his role as Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar, Akshaye Khanna is now entering Telugu cinema with Mahakali.

In this film he will play Shukracharya marking a big change in his choice of roles. The movie is part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) and has a mythological superhero backdrop.

There is also a buzz about another PVCU film Adhira directed by Sharan Koppisetty and produced by RKD Studios.

It stars Kalyan Dasari and is currently being shot. Akshaye is rumored to be part of this film too but there is no official confirmation yet.

Meanwhile Prasanth is working on Jai Hanuman starring Rishab Shetty. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and more details will be out soon.
